Tax Assessor – City of East Orange
Is seeking a full time Certified Tax Assessor (CTA) with at least 10 years of
experience as a municipal tax assessor. The City of East Orange has
10,308 line items within its 3.9 square miles. The respondent must have
demonstrated capabilities and experience in the area of running a highly
organized & efficient assessor’s office including but not limited to: defense of
tax appeals, added assessments, sales ratio, reassessments, revaluation
and public relations. In addition, the applicant must have experience using
Vital tax assessment software and Microsoft Excel & Word. A Bachelors
degree and State of New Jersey appraisal license are preferred.
